Fox Valley Area Labor Council and United Way Fox Cities Working Together for a Better Community

United Way and the labor movement have enjoyed a beneficial and long lasting partnership that has engaged hundreds of thousands of working people, union members and non-members alike, in programs that benefit communities across the country, and assisted millions of workers in their time of need.

Together, we fight for the health, education and financial stability of every person in our community.

The Fox Valley Area Labor Council and United Way Fox Cities partner to work toward mutual goals of both organizations by:

  • Bridging the United Way and labor communities;
  • Fostering strong relationships with labor unions to ensure successful United Way campaigns and advancement of mutual organizational impact goals;
  • Identifying opportunities for United Way and labor to collaborate on jointly developed programs that benefit local communities;
  • Building strategic partnerships with community allies and implementing jointly developed programs around the issues of health, education and financial stability.

Change doesn’t happen alone. It takes all of us to house the homeless, care for the elderly, prepare our children for the future, and ultimately, build a stronger, more caring community for everyone. United, we win.
